Jesus is the one in whom we find salvation. Acts 4:12 says “there is salvation in no else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” We must believe in Him and He will save us into life everlasting. Life is full when we are living according to God’s plan for our lives and when we are submitted to His plan for our lives! Why don’t you accept Christ today?
Jesus is the one who paid a great price for us and He will rescue us from an empty way of life. I Peter 1:18,19 says, “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” When we feel that something is missing we can look to Christ for greater meaning in our lives.
Jesus is the one who will cleanse us and make us a new creation. He wants to give us a new outlook and the ability, through His Spirit, to follow Him. I Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” He will not only forgive us for our sins and cleanse our lives, but He will also give us the power to live fresh, clean, new lives!
Jesus is the one who gives us access to the Father who warmly welcomes us to be His children. We have a privileged relationship with Him. Jesus, through the cross, has given us access to the heavenly Father and all of the love and power that He is. Romans 8:15,16 says, “For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” When we come to Christ we find a new family. Romans 15:7 says, “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” When we lock arms with other believers we are never alone as we strive for integrity in Christ.
Jesus is the way that we receive nourishment and growth spiritually. God wants to teach us through His Word. When we are guided by the Holy Spirit we will learn from the Word of God. You can look forward to learning from your Father in heaven when you meditate on the Word of God. II Timothy 3:16,17 explains why we need to read the Word of God: “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Jesus is part of the Trinity. The Trinity is the Godhead which consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are one God while at the same time they are equal in power and glory. Matthew 28:19, 20 speaks of the Trinity, “. . . baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. . .
